  • Welcome Guests! Please fill out a visitors’ card located in the Narthex and give it to one of the ushers or a priest so we can keep you updated as to what is going on at Holy Resurrection. You are welcome to join us for Coffee and Tea afterwards in the Church hall.
  • Congratulations to Eric and Ruth Leibowitz on the upcoming marriage of their son, Michael to Joanne Marie Kilkenny on Saturday, December 13, in Pennsylvania. Many years!
  • Instructional booklets for Advent are now available. They have been compiled by the Festival Committee and Fr. Patrick. The booklets include information about Advent, the fast, the Entry of the Theotokos, St. Nicholas, St. Herman and home practices to observe during this time.  You may purchase one for the cost of the materials.  It is recommended for each family and individual parishoner buy one.  It is meant to provide you with a good foundation for observing Advent and preparing for Nativity. Supplies are limited, please see P. Paula if you would like to purchase one downstairs today.
  • Immediately following coffee hour today there will be a singing practice for our carol singing at our Santa Lucia Festival in 3 weeks.  This is the first of 2 practices.  If you are interested, please join us at 12:15 or 12:30pm by the piano.
  • This week we will be commemorating The Entry of the Theotokos. This is one of the great feasts of the church. There will be a Vigil on Wednesday and a Liturgy on Thursday, please attend if you are able. See the back of the bulletin for a reading about this great feast.
  • If anyone is interested in selling their crafts at the Santa Lucia Festival...no matter how humble...they're welcome, please contact Karen Zukas at 617-361-4740.  Thanks for helping out!
  • Mark your calendars! Join us Dec. 12th from 7-9 for a Christmas Sekenka with the Divi Zheni Bulgarian Women’s Choir. Proceeds benefit our Open Door ministry, so bring a friend! Fliers are in the Narthex, pick one up and spread the word!
  • Thursday Nights at Holy Resurrection: The young adults of the parish will be meeting again this week for a vespers at 6 and discussion at 7.
  • Orthodoxy 101 will continue next Saturday in the church classroom. The class is open to inquiries, catechumens and church members. All are welcome! Please contact Fr. Patrick (frpatrick@hrocboston.org) if you have any questions.
  • Donations: While we do not pass around a tray we do have a donations box in the Narthex of the Church. All donations are greatly appreciated.
