Rev. Theodore Petrides
Born in Worcester, MA, and raised in Philedelphia Fr. Theodore majored in Drama in college and was led to a deeper understanding of the Orhtodox Christian Faith of his childhood through his love for plays. He and Pres. Cristen (Williams) were engaged at Pascha and married on Aug. 24, 1985 in Philadelphia, PA. He then attended Holy Cross Seminary in Brookline, MA graduating in 1990 with a Masters of Divinity, and travelled to Thessaloniki, Greece where he continued his studies and preparation for ordination. A parish priest for 16 years, he is also involved in many other Orthodox ministry organizations nation-wide. He and Pres. Cristen have six children ages 23 to 10 and have lived the last 13 years in Stroudsburg, PA growing in the faith along with the parishioners of Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church.
